Yay..!!

I finally have my computer back!! Mark had our computer at his office for work forever and we finally have it back. Of course now that I have a computer that will actually let me DO anything, my camera is being dumb and won't let me put up all the TONS of pictures I have accumulated in the meantime. Oh well.

So since pretty much everyone only looks at these for pictures, I will just have "borrow" a few from my sister.
At the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House.

Quincy was so excited to go. We have talked about temples, and she has seen our wedding pictures, so when we told her that we were going to get to go inside and see it, she was so excited! She talked about it for days- before and after we went. So cute!!

It can only get better ;)

Boy we have gone through a rough few months! I don't want to go into too much detail, but it has been hard. So just when I get healed up from my c-section, I had to get my gallbladder removed a few weeks ago. That was brutal! Thank goodness my Grandma came up and stayed with us. She is amazing! She took care of the kiddos for me and made dinner and cleaned and everything! I don't know what I would have done if she hadn't been there. Then Quincy came down with a really high fever and with her history we have to get her treated right away. Two instacare visits and a night spent in the ER, a fever of 104.9 at one point, and two medication changes, they finally got her better. The worst part was that Deacon ended up getting very sick and had to be put in the hospital. He had viral bronchiolitis and had to be hooked up to all these monitors and machines and IVs and get his lungs suctioned out and be given medications so that he could breathe. It was so sad! They even had to take blood from out of his head because he was so dehydrated. But they are both doing so much better now. Of course Mark and I couldn't be around all this without getting sick and ended up with strep throat.Phew! After dealing with all of this, I am just so thankful that we are all healthy and able to be home.

Here are some pictures from Easter. One of the only 2 days that we have gone out and they get sick!

A Baby Story!!!

I have been wanting to post about all of this forever, but I have been so sick/miserable that I haven't been able to. It makes me laugh when I think about everything all together because seriously what more could have gone on! Since the beginning of this pregnancy I have had such bad migraines that I have had to go the the ER several times to get them to go away. Then along with that I had bad nausea and vomiting that never went away through my whole pregnancy. I had to go into the hospital a bunch of times to be treated because I was so dehydrated. As if that weren't enough, I got kidney stones and had been passing them just about EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last 3 months!!! If you've ever had one you know how painful it can be! Then after that I found out that I had gestational diabetes and had to deal with all that goes along with that!! I also had problems with my gallbladder the last month or so and that caused more pain! So I was definitely ready to have this baby!

I had been having problems with my blood pressure and had to be treated a couple of times when I was 35wks. I had preeclampsia with Quincy and started having symptoms of it again, so at my 36 week appointment my doctor decided to do my c-section the next morning. So he's finally here!!

Deacon

18 inches long

Me right before c-section.

We are so excited to finally have him here! He was born a little early and had to be treated for jaundice, but he's doing great now! He is such a tiny little guy but such a good baby!!
